The stock adaptive dampers do a decent job of dampening road noise from the big wheels. Sports suspension tuning in the M version, plus air springs and active roll stabilization, improve the performance factor, but the suspension is too stiff and ready for the Competition track to be useful in daily use. At more than 5,000 pounds, the X6 is not suitable for any kind of competition anyway, and it tries too hard to succeed.
